About the Author:

• Ian Fleming (19081964) was a British author, naval intelligence officer, and journalist, best known for creating the legendary character James Bond.

• Before becoming a full-time writer, Fleming worked in British naval intelligence during World War II. Many of his real-life experiences inspired the espionage plots and settings in his books.

• Fleming wrote a total of 12 Bond novels and 2 short story collections, including:
