Drawing on her love of the supernatural-and sexy, powerful heroes, Jaime Rush has crafted a new series, The Hidden. A place filled with dark magick, and the kinds of demons and monsters that haunt nightmares and fairy tales … and it’s right there, hidden behind the glamour and sunshine of Miami. Straddling the line between the normal world and the Hidden are Crescents, humans who hold a sliver of the essence of deities. Dragons, Angels, and magicians, Crescents walk the knife’s edge, protecting both Mundanes and the existence of their magick, because to expose the Hidden means death. Never easy with bored and frustrated gods wreaking havoc on the humans they blame for tempting them. Or the other beings who bedevil. Or the dissention between the classes of Crescents. Their biggest challenge, though, is fighting the seductive lure of their magick, their bloodlust, and holding on to what makes them human.>
